I’m getting back into ANSI, for nostalgic reasons :slight_smile:

So, after drawing some things on my own, it would be cool to draw something that would be used.

So if anyone needs a smaller piece done, let me know. Since it’s free, it won’t be anything big, a set or a tight timeline, etc.

Looking for similar! Will be posting on here as well, however as you’re looking for freebie work…

After many (…many) years, I’m in the process of setting up a BBS again. I started last year, but its usually the artwork which is my road blocker. Not looking after elaborate stuff - but am looking for a somewhat basic but specific theme.

Anyway, looking for the following kind of things - non elaborate, needs to fit typical terminal dimensions for BBS (ie 80x24), 16 colours, etc.

  • Theme will be around Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. More specifically if it were a BBS owned by Megadodo (ie the guys that wrote the guide).

  • Need login screen, banners for areas (files, messages, doors, news etc)

  • I can work with frameworks and build out from there. Just design…sigh I used to do this but those days are goooone lol

  • Interface (ie menus) I was thinking of doing on a yellow background in similar vein to the “modern guide” from the movie. Not sure on the practicality of it working well in the software so may ditch that one - I’ll look after that probably

Probably a bit harder for those that might never have read the books or watched the movie, but oh well

it takes “entering 5 topics” OR “reading 30 posts” OR “spending 10 minutes on the forum” to gain the trust level to be able to send DM’s. not a very steep treshold tbh.
