Some Ansi screens for a new BBS door game - $300

Hi there, am looking to commission a few ansi screens for a new BBS door game I’m writing, payment via Paypal or whatever is convenient, full credit given. Its going to be a small clone of Sierra’s Hoyle 3 for DOS. The door game allows someone to play Checkers, Othello, Backgammon or Chess. All in its 80x23 glory… heres what I’m brainstorming (pasted from a crude design file).

MAIN MENU

(here would be a full colorful fun medival 80x23 ansi/logo?)

(P)lay some games!

(Q)uit for now

CHOOSE YOUR CHARACTER

Welcome! You appear to be a new player. You can use your ARROW KEYS or
NUMBERS to choose your character from the selection below:

(detailed ansi with four character mini-pictures. The selection code will
place a square around the character)

| MALE | MALE |
| WARRIOR | MAGICIAN |
| | |

| | |
| FEMALE | FEMALE |
| WARRIOR | MAGICIAN |

You may customize your character colors below. Use the ARROW KEYS or NUMBERS. (this
will copy the mini-picture and just change the hair/skin/clothing colours)

And everyone should know you in the realm as…? (BBS alias)

GAME SCREEN

Please select a game: (the selection is highlighted by a big square around
the mini-picture of the game)

(here would be a detailed fun ansi with mini-pictures representing the
games, ie)

example:

| CHECKERS | OTHELLO |
| (couple of checker pieces?) | (four white/black othello pieces) |
| | |

| | |
| BACKGAMMON | CHESS |
| (colorful backgammon triangles) | (a king and queen?) |

WHO DO YOU CHALLENGE?

Asks whether to challenge another player or the computer.

Additional ansis needed / considerations:

  • All ansis should be 80x23 to allow for an in-game status/menu bar.

  • Some kind of cool “slate” for the high scores, simular to a top-BBS user
    list. Medival scroll theme?

  • Maybe the medival slate is the common “background” for every ansi?

  • Maybe for a slate ansi, copy the mini-picture of the game to the header
of the ansi so it looks unique and fun.

  • A small 20x10 slate ansi for in-game messages.

  • Ansi “icons” needed… am thinking 8x4 size? Dice, doubling-cube (for
backgammon), stopwatch/thinking-clouds (when the computer is thinking)
